THE CROSS AND THE TOWERS
I almost gave up but God gave me hope
It’s because of caring people like you that others can be blessed and encouraged with the word of God. Your tax deductible contributions allow us to continue reaching out to so many who are hurting and in need of encouragement.
Matthew 25:40 Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sister of mine, you did for me.
Our goal…. is to raise an initial $225,000 in an effort to continue building the resources needed that will help produce content and offer a place of refuge to anyone who hurts and is in need of spiritual healing.
Our Mission……at The Cross And The Towers is to help people in difficult circumstances understand the love of God surpasses all understanding.
Matthew 11:28 Come to me, all who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.
People hurt in different ways. Sometimes the very people we love hurt us. Sometimes our parents hurt us and other times it is our friends, the expectation of others or others expectation towards us, communication breakdown between people, or damaged emotions of others who in turn inflict their pain on us.
Then there are the more traumatic hurts such as the death of a family member or friend, a failed marriage ending in divorce, domestic abuse, sexual abuse and rape, illness, war, natural disaster, abandonment, drug and alcohol addiction,
pornography, death of a child, spouse, or family member. Hurt doesn’t discriminate and it happens to both Christian and non Christian alike.
No matter what the circumstances, people are hurting everywhere and are looking for answers and direction.
Traditional Clinical Responses – deal in methods such as medication and professional counseling.
Emotional Response – considers the approaches of communicating experiences to family or close friends, allowing time to heal, support groups, maintaining structured activities and daily routines, avoiding major life decisions, the pursuit of hobbies or other interests, and spending time with others
Spiritual Response – lets others know you are not alone in your struggle and there are people who have struggled just like you and are willing to share their experiences of hurt and spiritual healing. Personal testimony is one of the best ways to learn how others grieved, responded, and were healed
Do Something Today……
Join us in an effort to help those who are hurting understand they are not alone. For every person who hurts there is someone else who has experienced and overcome a similar hurt. Help us connect these individuals together using visual media so one can help and encourage the other.
Here’s how you can help….
1. Pray for those who hurt!
2. Give! Your donations to The Cross And The Towers allow for the continued producing and story gathering that help others in their struggles and pain. The combination of video and internet allows for the connection to be made worldwide.
